Conway Library

by Tim Feeney & Vic Rawlings

Conway Library 01:41:46

Tim Feeney and Vic Rawlings inhabit an unpredictable sound world, cultivating the metamusical potential of unstable sounds and silences. Using self-authored instrumentation, they explore the ripple effects that pulse through a silent space or alert ears.

Vic Rawlings is a musician, instrument builder, sound installation artist, filmmaker, and teacher based in western Massachusetts. Tim Feeney makes sound and image in and for forests and grain silos, specifically concerned with unstable sound and duration. He lives in Newhall, CA.

“...despite its refusal to make the slightest concession to the listener, the music draws you in and doesn’t let you go.”
Dan Warburton, The Wire
